General terms & conditions
We have tried to make these Ts&Cs as user friendly and clear as possible. These Ts&Cs will apply to any contract between us for the purchase of our products.
We hope that you will find all the information you need to be confident in our service and to place your order on our website through to the point the goods are delivered to you.
Our products and their intended usage are clearly defined. You may only purchase products from our site if you are at least 18 years old.
Carriage, Post and Packing
As of 1st July 2021 we no longer despatch to Marina or Post Office addresses.
Post and Packing is included in the purchase where delivered to England, Wales and Scotland (excluding Highlands and Islands).
Purchases made online
We hope you enjoy browsing our website and selecting your products.
When you have finished placing products in your Basket, you will have the opportunity to check your order. Don't worry if the Basket isn't correct, you can change the contents of the Basket at any time before pressing "place
your order" on the last order page.
Once you have been through the online checkout and placed your order by pressing the "place your order" button, you will be shown an order number along with a list of the products that you have ordered. Shortly after, you
will receive the first email from us headed "Thank you for your Order" to confirm that we have received your order.
Orders are normally despatched within 48 hours of the order being placed, our despatches are placed with parcel tracking and require signature.
Once the order is desptached you will receive a second email from ourselves or the carrier containing a parcel tracking link.
Provided that your payment has been successful and there are no problems with your order, you will own the products you order at the point they are delivered to your delivery address.
How to pay and our prices
You can pay online with Mastercard, Visa, Delta, and Maestro.
We are sorry but we are unable to accept cheques as a method of payment.
As we are based in the UK, all our prices are in UK pounds sterling.
The price of any orders placed will clearly show delivery charges at the checkout. The price of postage and packaging is for mainland Britain only. We are happy to post items outside of this area but please enquire about the cost before committing to your purchase.
You have a legal rights giving you 14 calendar days to cancel your purchase and to return products to us, In this instance you should notify us as soon as possible for instructions and return products to us in the same condition as received. We would suggest that you use a postal service where the item is insured, tracked and signed for on return. We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost in the post.
You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the products returned.We will process the refund due to you as soon as we can and, in any case, within 14 calendar days of the day on which the goods have been
If the products were delivered to you, you must return them unused to us as soon as it's reasonably possible. If you're returning the products, all that we ask is that you take reasonable care of them while they are in your possession.

Nothing in these Ts&C's excludes or limits your legal rights (also referred to as your statutory rights).
We are sure that you will be delighted with your purchase. Where an item is found to be faulty:-
Standard 14 day rights
Returns within period get full refund but will be subject to minor carriage costs (ours) being retained, customer returns product at own carriage cost.
One Year warranty
Please contact us should you have any issues with products.
Claims under warranty will be reviewed by GO First Trading, customers should retain proof of purchase.
We wish to ensure that customers receive a qualty service and will treat all claims on their own merits.
Go Windlass regarding any claims, will discuss with customers and inform customers how to return the item for us to review the claim and to determine replacement and or refund where appropriate.
